This standard specifies the basic methods and technical requirements of periodic inspection and evaluation of seamless steel gas cylinders.
This standard is applicable for periodic inspection and evaluation of seamless steel gas cylinders with hydrostatic inspection pressure being lower than 45MPa and water volume being 0.4-80L, which are used for storing and transporting permanent gas or high-pressure liquefied gas or vehicle-carried seamless steel gas cylinder (hereinafter called gas cylinder for short).
This standard does not apply to gas cylinder with solid stuffing or fire-fighting gas cylinder.
