This standard is applicable to ceramic products manufactured from a mixture of inorganic materials such as clay with a generally high argillaceous or silicate content for better technological properties.These articles,including crude,fine and enamelled utensils and food containers,are first shaped and the shape thus obtained is permanently fixed by firing.They may be glazed,enamelled and/or decorated.
