This standard specifies dimensions, profile, weight, technical requirement, test procedures, inspection rules, packing, mark and certificate for quality of seamless steel tubes for low and medium pressure boilers. This standard applies to manufacture hot rolled (extruded, expanded ) and cold drawn (milled) seamless steel tubes of high quality carbon steel for low and medium pressure boilers and locomotive boilers withdifferent structures.
