This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the electric-driving control-gear incorporating electronic devices (i.e. “electronic and electric-driving control-gear”).
This standard is applicable to the electronic and electric-driving control-gear (hereinafter referred to as controlgear) for general manufacturing machine use, which has the rated AC voltage of less than 1200V, frequency of less than 1000Hz and rated DC voltage of less than 1500V.
