This standard is applicable to the indoor electric-driving control-gear (hereinafter referred to as control-gear) which has the rated AC voltage of less than 1200V, frequency of less than 1000Hz and rated DC voltage of less than 1500V and is mainly composed by low voltage equipments.
This standard is also applicable to the control-gear which is specially designed and manufactured for some special service conditions. In addition, the technical requirements for special service conditions and the corresponding test methods must be added in the product standard of such control-gear.
