This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of perfluorinated ion exchange membranes for chlor-alkali industry (hereinafter referred to as chlor-alkali ion membranes).
This standard is applicable to the general technical conditions of chlor-alkali ion membranes prepared by using perfluorosulfonic acid resin, perfluorocarboxylic acid resin, reinforced mesh cloth and hydrophilic coating as main raw materials.
