This international standard specifies a method for the determination of the moisture content of paper, board and pulp after sampling.
The method is applicable to all paper, board and pulp, provided that the paper, board or pulp does not contain any substance, other than water that will escape at the temperature specified for the test.
The method does not apply to the determination of any pulp slurry or determination of sales quality of baled bulk.
