本标准规定了连续缠绕焊接成型的网状钢丝骨架与聚乙烯(中密度或高密度)热塑性树脂，以挤出方式复合成型的钢骨架聚乙烯塑料复合管(以下简称复合管或SRPE)的原料、产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输与贮存。
本标准适用于建筑物内外、架空与埋地的压力输水及饮用水用复合管，复合管长期使用时输送的介质温度不超过70℃，非长期使用时输送的介质温度不超过80℃。
