本标准规定了以城镇燃气为燃料的燃气蒸箱的术语和定义，分类和型号，结构和材料，要求，试验方法，检验规则，标识、警示和使用说明书以及包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于额定热负荷不大于80 kW、蒸腔蒸汽压力不大于500 Pa（表压）的燃气蒸箱（以下简称蒸箱）。
本标准所指城镇燃气为符合GB/T 13611的燃气。
