本标准规定了以聚烯烃压力管材料为原料，经注塑成型的钢塑复合压力管用双热熔承插连接型聚烯烃管件（以下简称双热熔管件）的定义、符号、缩略语、产品分类、材料、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于冷热水管道系统所用的双热熔管件，包括工业及民用冷热水、饮用水、热水采暖及中央空调等系统。
本标准不适用于灭火系统。
