本标准规定了铝合金及不锈钢平面（平板）闸门（以下简称闸门）的术语和定义、分类、要求、检验及试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输及贮存等。
本标准适用于给水、排水及水利、水电等工程，介质为水，温度小于或等于65℃，公称压力小于0.1 MPa，孔口面积小于或等于9 m2的闸门。
