本标准规定了太阳能热水系统热水箱至用户终端输水用耐热聚乙烯(PE-RT)管材(以下简称太阳能PERT管)的材料、管系列S值的选择、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于太阳能热水管道系统、太阳能生活热水供水管道系统，长期使用温度95 ℃以下，故障温度可达100 ℃。
本标准不适用于太阳能集热管与热水箱循环系统部分输水管路。
