本标准规定了超高分子量聚乙烯钢骨架复合管材(以下简称复合管）的术语和定义、符号、分类和标记、结构和材料、规格、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于城镇供水、建筑给水、消防给水、特种流体（包括适合使用的工业废水、腐蚀性气体溶浆、固体粉末等）输送用管材，也适用于输送石油、天燃气行业油气污水输送及混输复合管材，城镇燃气可参照采用。复合管输送介质温度适用于-40 ℃～65 ℃。
