本标准规定了液化石油气钢瓶热处理工艺、设备等基本要求，热处理工艺评定程序及质量检验等。
本标准适用于正常环境温度（－40℃～+60℃)下使用的，水压试验压力不大于3.3 MPa，公称容积小于240 L可重复充装液化石油气的钢质焊接气瓶(以下简称钢瓶)。
