本标准规定了燃气热水器及采暖炉用热交换器（以下简称“热交换器”）的术语和定义，分类及型号，材料及结构，要求，试验方法，检验规则，标识、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于安装在GB 6932和CJ/T 336中规定的家用燃气快速热水器中的铜制和不锈钢制的热交换器，也适用于安装在GB 25034和CJ/T 395中规定的单采暖型和采暖热水两用型燃气采暖炉中的铜制和不锈钢制的热交换器。
本标准不适用于燃气采暖热水两用炉中的板式热交换器。
