本标准规定了城市轨道交通车辆车体的符号和代号、一般要求、车体各部件及组装技术要求、车体材料及许用应力、车体结构功能评定、车体载荷、车体检验规则、质量保证、标志、包装运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于CJJ/T 114中的最高运行速度不大于120 km/h的地铁车辆、直线电机车辆、跨座式单轨交通车辆、低地板有轨电车车辆和中低速磁浮交通车辆，其他类型的城市轨道交通车辆可参照执行。
