本标准规定了采用折边磨试验仪和马丁代尔耐磨试验仪两种测定织物折边磨性能的方法。
方法A（折边磨试验仪）适用于大多数织物，不适用于长毛绒类、摇粒绒等织物的绒面测试；

方法B（马丁代尔耐磨试验仪）适用于大多数织物，不适用于弹性较大的织物。
