本标准规定了棉与涤纶（棉型短纤维）混纺，棉混用比例在50%以上的精梳棉涤混纺本色纱线产品的分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装。
本标准适用于鉴定环锭纺精梳棉涤混纺本色纱线（包括机织用纱和针织用纱）的品质，不适用于鉴定特种用途精梳棉涤混纺本色纱线的品质。
