本标准规定了天然彩色棉纤维（含量30％及以上）与本色细绒棉、长绒棉混纺精梳纱线的术语、分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、储存和运输。
本标准适用于鉴定环锭机制（机织、针织)精梳天然彩色棉纱线的品质。
本标准不适用于鉴定特种用途天然彩色棉纱线的品质。
