本标准规定了莫代尔纤维（棉型短纤维）纯纺及与精梳棉混纺本色纱线（以下简称“莫代尔本色纱线”）的产品分类、标识、要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装。本标准适用于鉴定莫代尔纤维混用比例在10%以上的环锭纺莫代尔纤维纯纺及与精梳棉混纺本色纱线（包括针织用纱和机织用纱）的品质。本标准不适用于鉴定特种用途莫代尔纤维本色纱线的品质。
