本标准规定了缝纫线用涤纶短纤维的术语和定义、产品分类、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存的要求。
本标准适用于线密度为1.20 dtex～1.40 dtex的有光和半消光，圆形截面的本色缝纫线用涤纶短纤维。其他类型的缝纫线用涤纶短纤维可以参照使用。
