本标准规定了再生阻燃涤纶短纤维的分类与标识、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存的要求。
本标准适用于以回收聚酯（PET）为原料，以阻燃母粒添加方式熔融纺丝生产的，线密度为1.56 dtex～6.00 dtex纱用及线密度为2.78 dtex～27.8 dtex充填用再生阻燃涤纶短纤维的品质评定。除表面整理型（喷洒或浸渍方式）之外的其他类型的再生阻燃涤纶短纤维可参照执行。
