本标准规定了非织造用涤纶短纤维的术语和定义、分类与标识、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存的要求。
本标准适用于以精对苯二甲酸和乙二醇为原料生产的、半消光或有光、圆形截面、线密度为0.78 dtex～4.44 dtex 的非织造用涤纶短纤维。其他非织造用涤纶短纤维可参照使用。
