本标准规定了海岛涤锦复合短纤维的术语和定义、产品标识、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存的要求。
本标准适用于以碱溶性聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(COPET)为海相，聚己内酰胺(PA6)为岛相生产的，开纤前线密度2.0 dtex～4.0 dtex、开纤后单丝线密度0.03 dtex～0.09 dtex，涤锦比例范围25/75～35/65，圆形截面、半消光、本色的海岛涤锦复合短纤维。其他类型的海岛复合短纤维可参照使用。
