本标准规定了涤纶毛条的术语和定义、产品标识、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存的要求。
本标准适用于线密度1.33 dtex～6.67 dtex，有光、半消光、全消光的本色、圆形截面，平均长度小于或等于110 mm，直接成条的涤纶毛条。其他涤纶毛条可参照使用。
