本标准规定了海岛涤纶低弹丝的术语和定义、产品标识、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存的要求。
本标准适用于以碱溶性聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯为海相，聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯为岛相生产的，总线密度55.6 dtex～333.3 dtex、开纤后单丝线密度0.03 dtex～0.38 dtex，圆形截面、半消光、全消光的海岛涤纶低弹丝和海岛涤纶低弹丝与高收缩涤纶牵伸丝的混纤丝。其他类型的海岛涤纶低弹丝可参照使用。
