Scope of Application：
本文件规定了球径为3 mm～50 mm的轴承用成品陶瓷球强度测定方法。陶瓷球优先采用氮化硅（Si3N4）制成。
注1：ISO 26602中给出了经预处理的陶瓷球氮化硅材料的要求。ISO 3290-2中给出了成品氮化硅陶瓷球的要求。
注2：其他陶瓷球强度测定方法见参考文献。
泊松比对强度试验的结果有轻微影响，因此在计算时，包括用做轴承滚动体的典型氮化硅陶瓷在内，所用材料的泊松比范围为0.15～0.35。
本试验也能用于由其他陶瓷材料制成的陶瓷球，但本文件中的前系数可能不适用。
注3：ISO 17561中给出了各向同性材料泊松比的确定方法。
由于陶瓷材料的脆性断裂性（受缺陷影响），一组名义上相同的样品，试验结果可能会明显离散。
注4：ISO 20501中给出了进一步的统计分析方法。
