Scope of Application：
本标准规定了便携、手持、内燃机式切割机(以下简称切割机)设计和制造的安全要求及其试验验证，该类切割机预定由单人在切割建筑材料(如沥青、混凝土、石材和金属)时使用。
本标准仅适用于使用固结磨料和/或超硬磨料(金刚石)旋转切割砂轮的切割机，且切割砂轮最大外径为430 mm，切割砂轮的支承安装在其中心并由主轴驱动，切割砂轮的顶部向远离操作者的方向旋转(见图1)。
本标准涉及了在预定使用或在制造商可合理预见的误用条件下对这些机器有意义的所有重大危险、危险情况或危险事件(参见附录A的表A.1)。
本标准规定了消除或减小使用切割机过程中发生危险的方法，以及与切割机一起提供的安全工作规范的信息类型。
本标准不涉及切割砂轮的规格。作为切割砂轮规格的示例，见GB/T 4127.7、GB/T 23537和ISO 13942。
本标准不适用于其发布日之前生产的机器。
