本文件规定了以下方法：
a) 连续监测延伸的连续蠕变试验；
b) 定期测量伸长率的间断蠕变试验；
c) 通常只测量断裂时间的蠕变断裂（持久）试验；
d) 给定应力下超过预定时间的验证试验，不记录延伸率或伸长率。
注：蠕变试验能进行至试样断裂，也能在断裂前停止。
本文件适用于光滑试样和缺口试样的蠕变（持久）试验。
