本标准适用于升角小于5°、具有标准螺距的普通螺纹(M)、统一螺纹(UN)、55°管螺纹(G、R)、60°密封管螺纹(NPT、NPSC、NPTF)和梯形螺纹(Tr)中径测量。量针主要用于螺纹塞规中径校准。
