本文件规定了机车车辆上安装的牵引变压器、辅助变压器和电抗器的分类、使用条件、一般特性、试验项目和试验方法。本文件适用于安装在机车车辆上的牵引变压器和辅助变压器，也适用于机车车辆牵引电路和辅助电路中接入的各种类型的电抗器。注： 当GB/T 1094（所有部分）中的要求与本文件或涉及牵引应用的国家标准不相矛盾时，可适用于牵引变压器和电抗器。本文件也可适用于电动车组的三相交流网侧牵引变压器和机车车辆的单相与多相辅助电路中接入的变压器，但仪用变压器、额定输出功率单相小于1 kVA和多相小于5 kVA的变压器除外。本文件不适用于安装在变压器或电抗器上的附属设备，如分接开关、电阻器、散热器、风机等，它们分别依照相关标准进行试验。
