本标准规定了聚乙烯隔离墩（简称隔离墩)的术语和定义、分类和结构、材料、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。本标准适用于以聚乙烯为主要原料，采用滚塑成型或吹塑成型制成的，使用温度在-40 ℃～+65 ℃范围内的隔离墩。其他成型工艺制造的隔离墩可参照本标准执行。
