Scope of Application：
本文件规定了应用毒理学关注阈值（TTC）评定医疗器械组分的生物相容性的方法。
本文件适用于：
——与某一浸提液中已知组分或未知组分的最大浓度进行比较（见GB/T 16886.18）；
——毒理学等同性研究；
——与某一已知物估计的最大接触剂量进行比较（见GB/T 16886.17）。
本文件不适用于：
——获取具有足够毒性数据成分的可耐受摄入量(TI）值(见GB/T 16886.17）；
——按照GB/T 16886.1进行的医疗器械生物学评价中致癌性、全身毒性和生殖毒性之外的其他生物学终点的安全性评定，如：细胞毒性、刺激、致敏、血液相容性、材料介导的致热性和某一医疗器械与人体接触部位组织发生的局部反应（如，植入研究的观察）；
——经气路与人体产生间接接触的医疗器械的安全性评定；
注：这类器械中存在或释放组分的TTC的应用，见ISO 18562系列标准。
——具有特殊关注组分（cohort of concern constituent, Coc）的安全性评定（见5.3）。
