本标准规定了测定土方机械机器液体系统（发动机、传动系统、燃油系统、机油系统等）作业时静态坡道能力的试验室测试方法。土方机械液体系统作业的坡道极限值是评定静态坡道能力的性能参数。
静态坡道能力测试的优先方法是把机器放在倾斜平台上或特制的坡道上。另一个可选择的方法是在测试台架上对整个液体系统进行试验。每一种方法都应具有确保安全的措施。
