GB/T 39380的本部分规定了以氯化聚氯乙烯(PVC-C）混配料为原料，经挤出成型的喷水灭火用氯化聚氯乙烯(PVC-C）管材(以下简称“管材”）的术语和定义、符号及缩略语、材料、要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输及贮存。
本部分适用于 GB 50084—2017 规定的工作压力 1.2 MPa、使用环境温度不低于 4 ℃ 且不高于 70 ℃的管材，用于火灾危险等级为轻危险级、中危险级Ⅰ级场所的自动喷水灭火系统。
本部分与 GB/T 39380的其他部分一起适用于 GB 50084—2017 的塑料管道系统。
