本文件描述了液晶显示（LCD)器件用玻璃强度和可靠性的试验方法。
本文件适用于所有LCD类型，包括透射型、反射型或半反半透型的LCD模块，模块采用字段、无源或有源矩阵，非彩色或彩色型LCD，以及是否自带集成光源。
本文件为LCD参数的准确可靠测试提出统一的要求：
a） 准静态强度；
b） 准静态疲劳。
本文件描述的方法适用于所有尺寸，包括小尺寸和大尺寸的LCD器件。
注：本文件中描述的测量疲劳常数的方法源自参考文献[1]~[8]。主要的结果是对规定寿命期内预估的许用应力或者规定应力水平下预估的失效率的计算公式。如LCD玻璃强度和疲劳行为的有限数据见附录A。同样的，也包含了LCD模块静态强度的数据，并与基板玻璃进行比较。
