本部分未规定用于以下的小孔径连接件的要求：
——仅用于胃吸引的医疗器械；
——仅用于口腔的医疗器械；
示例： 预期不与其他医疗器械连接的口腔终端注射器，预期直接用于患者口腔给液。
——加压或卸压固定机构（如球囊），用来将插入胃肠道的医疗器械固定在正确位置；
——胃肠道内镜检查器具；
——在皮肤上进行胃造口术的医疗器械。
注2： 即使现行的医疗器械相关专用标准未做要求，鼓励制造商将符合本部分规定的小孔径连接件应用到胃肠道医疗器械或附件上。期望修订相关的专用医疗器械标准时，YY/T 0916规定的小孔径连接件要求将被包括在其中。
