本文件规定了手持便携式石锤手柄部位手传振动测量的试验方法，确定了型式试验状态下操作石锤时手柄握持部位振动大小的型式检验程序。其测得的结果用于比较相同形式不同型号机器的振动大小。
本文件适用于由压缩空气或其他方式驱动的雕刻笔和石匠用石锤（见第5章）。
本文件不适用于在建设工程中进行拆除作业的锤类机器，或是用于金属材料的气铲。
注： 为避免混淆“动力工具”和“插入工具”， 本文件通篇采用“机器”代替“动力工具”。
