本文件规定了压载水排放取样接口的设计和布置要求。根据船舶总体设计要求，在船舶取样接口安装合适的取样探头以满足采集压载水样品的需求，该接口端口在不使用时采用盲板法兰密封。本文件也规定了具有代表性的取样接口的位置，以满足与各种取样器相匹配。本文件还规定了样品取样接口下游压载水管路的回流接口要求，允许处理后的样品水返回压载水管路。样品采集人员根据ISO 117112的要求确定合适的取样器和其他样品采集设备。注：本文件中提及的取样接口与ISO 117112中提及的取样器有所区别。取样接口是一个永久性装置，设计并安装在船舶压载水管路中，符合多个取样器安装要求。取样器是取样方为满足取样测量目的，配合取样接口而设计的临时安装的水样收集管。本文件适用于水流为湍流、公称尺寸不小于DN 100的船舶压载水排放管路，关于较小直径的压载水排放管路见附录A。本文件主要涉及压载水排放样品的采集，进水样品采集时取样接口的可选安装见附录B。
