本文件规定了采用沿整个圆周截面轴向传播的超声导波对碳钢和低合金钢材质的地面管线和厂区管道的腐蚀或侵蚀损伤进行长距离检测的方法。
本文件适用于以下类型的管道：
——地面涂层管线；
——地面带隔热层管线；
——厂区涂层管道；
——厂区带隔热层管道。
注： 导波检测(GWT)方法快速检查地面管线、厂区管道和穿越道路带套管的管道，对可能腐蚀或侵蚀的区域进行定性筛查及定位。通常在在役管道上实施导波检测。穿越道路带套管的管段(无沥青或塑料涂层)是管道外壁不受土壤压力的特殊埋管，本文件适用于此类管道。由于复杂性增加，其他类型的管道不包括在上面的列表中，使用专用的检测方法。
