本标准规定了核酸提取试剂盒（磁珠法)（以下简称“试剂盒”)的术语和定义、分类、 技术要求、试验方法、标识、标签和使用说明书、包装、运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于采用磁珠法从血清、血浆、全血、脑脊液、乳汁、唾液、尿液、痰液、拭子、组织或石蜡包埋组织等各类临床样本中提取、纯化人类基因组核酸及其片段、病原体核酸的试剂盒。病原体核酸包含脱氧核糖核酸（DNA)、核糖核酸（RNA)等。
本标准不适用于不能将核酸提取产物取出进行检测的封闭式系统中包含的核酸提取试剂。
