本文件规定了普通照明用卤钨灯的安全和互换性要求，包括直接代替传统钨丝灯的卤钨灯和GB/T 14196.1-2023中没有作相应规定的新型卤钨灯，本文件中规定的这些卤钨灯的安全和互换性要求要与GB/T 14196.1-2023的规定结合使用。本文件规定了符合IEC 62471的光生物安全要求。本文件中规定的灯未达到要求风险类别标志的风险水平。本文件适用于具有以下特质的卤钨灯：--额定功率为250 W以下（包括250 W）；--额定电压为50 V～250 V之间（包括50 V，250 V）；--灯头为B15d、B22d、E12、E14、E17、E26、E26d、E25/50×39、E27或E27/51×39。符合本文件要求的灯是自屏蔽的，但不需要用特殊符号进行标记。由于它们直接替代传统的钨丝灯，因此也没有相应的灯具标记。
