本文件规定了不透射线和可透射线的、主要以聚甲基丙烯酸酯为基础的固化聚合树脂骨水泥的物理、机械、标志和包装的要求。该两类骨水泥分别供注射器或呈面团状使用，主要应用于人工关节置换术中假体的内固定。骨水泥以已计量的无菌粉体和无菌液体成套提供，适于在植入时进行混合。
本文件不涉及有关患者或骨水泥使用者在使用骨水泥时的危险性。
所有的要求及一切试验仅适用于无菌产品。
