Scope of Application：
本文件规定了爆炸性气体环境或爆炸性粉尘环境用由浇封型“m”保护的电气设备、电气设备部件及Ex元件的结构、试验和标志的专用要求。
本文件适用于额定电压不超过11 kV的浇封型电气设备、电气设备的浇封部件及浇封Ex元件（以下统称“m”设备）。
在爆炸性气体和可燃性粉尘可能同时出现的环境中使用的电气设备，宜要求附加保护措施。
本文件不适用于不需要大气中的氧气就会燃烧的火炸药粉尘，也不适用于自燃物质。
本文件不考虑粉尘中释放的可燃性气体或有毒气体形成的危险。
本文件是对GB/T 3836.1通用要求的补充和修改。当本文件的要求与GB/T 3836.1的要求有冲突时，本文件的要求优先。
