本文件规定了适用于钢制O形圈端面密封管接头的通用设计要求、基本尺寸和性能要求，以及合格判定试验。此类管接头适用于公称外径为6 mm～50 mm的金属管或公称内径为6.3 mm～51 mm的软管。端面密封管接头适合于可用弹性密封防止流体泄漏（包括由装配偏差引起泄漏）的流体传动和一般应用。本文件规定的管接头适用于将金属管或软管接头与符合GB/T 2878.1的油口进行过渡连接（相关软管接头的规范见GB/T 9065.1）。
