本标准适用于以还原锗锭及锗单晶返料为原料，经区熔提纯工艺制备得到的区熔锗锭。ZGe-0区熔锗锭主要用于制备半导体及高纯锗探测器用的高纯锗单晶；ZGe-1区熔锗锭主要用于制备红外光学和太阳能电池用的锗单晶及各类锗-铬、锗-硅合金等。
