本标准规定了点型紫外火焰探测器的一般要求、要求和试验方法、检验规则和标志。
本标准适用于一般工业与民用建筑中安装的波长范围低于300 nm的点型紫外火焰探测器。对于在其他环境中安装的具有特殊性能的点型紫外火焰探测器，除特殊性能由有关标准另行规定外，也应执行本标准。
