本标准规定了用于机动车辆液压制动和液压离合系统的非石油基制动液的要求和试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于与丁苯橡胶(SBR)或三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)制作的密封件相接触，以非石油基原料为基础液，并加入多种添加剂制成的机动车辆制动液。
本标准不适用于极地环境条件下使用的机动车辆制动液。
