本标准规定了粉尘防爆安全总则、粉尘爆炸危险场所的建(构)筑物的结构与布局、防止粉尘云与粉尘层着火、粉尘爆炸的控制、除尘系统、粉尘控制与清理、设备设施检修和个体防护。
本标准适用于粉尘爆炸危险场所的工程及工艺设计、生产加工、存储、设备运行与维护。
本标准不适用于煤矿井下、烟花爆竹、火炸药和强氧化剂的粉尘场所。
