This standard specifies the limit requirements,test methods,sampling and inspection rules of VCM (Vinyl Chloride Monomer),soluble lead,soluble cadmium and other volatile compounds in polyvinyl chloride floor coverings (also called polyvinyl chloride floor leather).
This standard is applicable to foaming or non-foaming polyvinyl chloride floor coverings (hereinafter to be referred as floor coverings) with or without backing.They were manufactured by coating,rolling and other complex process of which polyvinyl chloride resin was the main raw material and at the same time suitable additives were added.This standard is also applicable to polyvinyl chloride composite leather laid on kang (a heatable brick bed in the north of China) and polyvinyl chloride floor used in vehicles.
